Nebraskans didn't ask to be guinea pigs for the botched healthcare cuts that came for our state back in May. Now they're about to hit the rest of the country. We will not let these attacks on our healthcare go unchallenged.

There is a Medicaid Advisory Committee in every state as mandated by the Affordable Care Act. The MAC is not a decision-making body and its members are neighbors and friends—but it's the one place we have an opportunity to make our voices heard on the disastrous changes to Medicaid inflicted by the Trump admin. Before the HR-1 cuts begin everywhere else on January 1st, we have a critical opening to raise the alarm on a) how badly these cuts and work requirements have been going for Nebraska and b) how essential it is for all of us (teachers, the disabled, care workers, public employees, nurses, etc.) to organize NOW.

This goes beyond an election cycle: this is about defending the public goods that provide stability to all of our lives.

Pack the MAC and defend our healthcare!
